About A.G. Wilson

In providing therapy to individuals, couples and adolescents - I know there are many events that often lead people to consider seeking mental health counseling. Sudden change or tragedy, transitioning from one stage of life to the next, any degree of problems in your relationships with those you love, or even realizing that you are feeling 'stuck' or unsatisfied in life.

We were all given framework and tools to make our lives work or just allow us to survive. In times of crisis, we sometimes realize that these tools have become ineffective or damaging to us, the outline we were given for life needs to be modified or no longer applies.

While difficult, I believe it is times of turmoil such as these that give us, as humans, the freedom and opportunity for change.

It is my desire to provide a place that is safe for you to take a closer look at things, or step back and take in the bigger picture. I believe change takes place within the context of the relationship we build together, providing fertile soil for us to plow together... turning over the soil of the past, sifting it through our fingers in the present, letting it reveal desires and passion for the future.

I hold a Master of Arts degree in Counseling and have over six years of combined experience working with at-risk youth, families and in private practice. I work from an existential/psycho-dynamic perspective, focusing on the vital relationships of your life - including the one that develops between the counselor the the client.
